Jordan Eberle - Husky for Life

Thursday, 11 December 2012 - We all know about the recent successes of Regina-born hockey player Jordan Eberle. His successes with the Regina Pats, his golden goal against Russia in the 2009 World Juniors, and his immediate impact as a forward for the Edmonton Oilers. What many people do not realize is that before all of that, Eberle called the halls of Hawrylak School his home for many years.

In town to celebrate the retirement of his jersey number with the Regina Pats, Jordan Eberle paid a visit to his old school to sign autographs and donate a commemorative jersey display to the school. Many students wore their Pats/Oilers/Team Canada jerseys to show their support, and Eberle happily signed these for every patient student. Other students received an autographed 8X10.

We all hope that the labour issues with the NHL come to a quick resolution, but one thing is certain - When the new season does begin, there will be a new crop of Oiler fans watching Ebs do what he does best!
