November 26th - 30th

Hi there! We are entering the home stretch before Christmas vacation, so if you have ever wondered what the inside of a beehive looks like, just walk through our halls during the next few weeks!

The HSCC has been hard at work preparing once again for their annual winter clothing and toy drives.  If you have any unused and outgrown winter clothing in your house, as we all do, please send it with your child, and we will load it into the large PUP container in front of the school.  As well, each family is asked to bring a toy for a child in a similar grade as their own children for our Adopt-A-School program. I have not yet had word whether our class is collecting boy or girl toys, but I will keep you posted.

Our practicing for the winter production of Melton, The Warm-Hearted Snowman is well underway. Please be sure that your child will be at school on their practice days and that they are able to attend both nights (December 12th and 13th) of the concert.  A note will be sent home regarding costuming ideas next week.

Here's what we're up to over the next five days:

Monday (Day One) - TUSC meeting, Scene 2 Practice at lunch
Tuesday (Day Two) - Barron Miles (Roughriders Defensive Backs Coach) here to talk about Grey Cup Rings, Phys. Ed. w/ Ms. Bechard, Staff vs. Students Volleyball game
