I hope everyone has had a wonderful vacation and is ready to get back to work! I have a lot of interesting and fun ideas that I can't wait to try out in the classroom this year!
This summer was a great one for my family and I.
We returned to California for two weeks, visiting San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. We went to baseball games at all 5 California ballparks and saw some incredible games and stadiums. The highlight was sitting right behind the Blue Jays dugout during their game against the Oakland A's! My son Nigel even got a few of the Jays to sign a baseball for him!
Baseball aside, we also had a lot of fun touring Universal and Warner Brothers Studios, seeing all of the Hollywood attractions, and watching sea lions on San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. It was an unforgettable trip, but we were all happy to be home when it was over!
I hope that your summer was spent creating memories with your families as well!
