Muna DeCiman came to Canada in 1995 as a refugee from the war-torn nation of Sierra Leone. She worked as a nurse in her home country, and quickly found work in Regina at the Paul Dojack Youth Centre, where she works as a counselor.
Muna was kind enough to join us to share some of the traditional rhythms and dances from her West African culture. Her energy and enthusiasm was absolutely infectious!
